Most families have several traditions, whether it’s related to holidays, birthdays, anniversarys or even watching the super bowl.

One of the traditions that we have started about six years ago. For Debbie’s birthday we pick up her sister and go over Stevens Pass to Leavenworth and spend a couple of night at the Worldmark resort.

Weight Loss on Their Own?

I heard the consumer segment on KOMO radio yesterday afternoon which was about the efficacy of weight loss programs and supplements. According to a Consumer Reports survey, 83% of all people surveyed who lost at least 10% of their starting weight and kept it off for at least 5 years did it on their own.

A man was driving to work when a truck ran a stop sign, hit his car broadside, and knocked him cold. Passersby pulled him from the wreck and revived him. He began a terrific struggle and had to be tranquilized by the medics. Later, when he was calm, they asked him why he struggled so. He said, "I remember the impact, then nothing.
